2 Nights, 2 Venues, 2 Towns and a lot of fun! :)

This is a Country full of beautiful ppl!

I have spent an amazing couple of days surrounded

by awesome talented- it all started Tuesday night, with the gorgeous

Bianca in Southampton, at a little hide away venue called The Soul Cellar,

Where we saw King Charles

If you haven't heard of these you need to get on google right now and find the 

nearest gig near you!! his voice is as amazing as his hair,

surrounded by an awesome band, that all added to the theatrics of the eve!! :) 

Thank you JaZe for introducing me, the Album is now on repeat!!

Me were also playing and after many who's playing jokes- that really aren't funny 

till several drinks have been consumed were also playing, then it occurred to me that this band

was also going to be playing at Breakout in Camden the following night. This Australian Band

currently touring were an brilliant find and really awesome guys :) 

Which takes to Wednesday starting the day visiting Graduate Fashion week 

with Emily and Rian, checking the Competition, 

which was exceptional the talent coming through was unreal, 

(although you can defo see Ragged Priest has been a huge inspiration this year!!)

and I cannot wait to be there next year (bring on final year!! wooooo)

From GFW full of inspiration went to Camden to get ready for Breakout @Proud for

 another beautiful night of fresh live music, 

through amazing up and coming act.

 This was one of the best night, the event is wicked and 

defiantly is going to be put in my calendar...

This is Aiden Grimshaw Breaking out, defo Shedding the X factor Label with the gorgeous 

'This is Love'- he will do amazingly with the quality tracks he showcased, if this is what the album has to offer sign me up now, his ability to draw you into the song

makes this an act you do not want to miss!! This guy voice is as good live as on the Radio

 and his presence is felt all around as he translate himself to you!!

 I'm not sure if that make sense but when your there you'll know what I'm saying :)  

Not only Beautiful and talented singer, who co-wrote his up and coming album,

but also a really nice guy, happy to chat and have photos with everybody and honestly surrounded 

by girls all evening! hahahaha! :)

Enjoy find a venue playing music, any sit, laugh, enjoy and take in the 

talent that surrounds us everyday!!

There is more to music in this country than what is in the charts,

we are one of the luckiest place in the world and there is a lot of 

negativity at the moment, with recessions and economic down turns,

 and these events that take place everyday across country and gives you a couple of hours

of just full on entertainment!! :) x x x

who is a lover of the legging! I love how fun it is, I'm also a lover of the legging 

but I don't quite have the thigh to carry it off like these gals!!hahaha!

I'm sorry it's been awhile it has been crazy 

busy as this world normally is!

Uni, Work, Work Experience, I've almost forgotten what day light is!! 

and definitely forgot what a social life is! haha!:)

but who needs one of those when your having so much other fun

The work experience was

as a Press Assistant at the Luxury Brand HEMYCA!!

This is the total AW12 Collection Previewed by fashion 

editors from all over the world, including Anna Wintour (US Vogue)

and Jane Pickering (Marie Claire UK). 

The Arlette dress in white with the leather detailing,

this is a stunningly winter structured dress!!

The Charlie Jacket with Leather detailing Simple 

timeless elegance, one of those Jackets that 

you could bring out time and again!!

Laguna Jacket in the Raven, this is absolutely amazing,

this would be amaze in the winter, with trousers or over a dress 

with tights, and the fabric is unreal!!

The Florence Dress- How beautiful is this dress!!

HEMYCA have been showing and London and Paris since 

2008, and believe in elegant, timeless clothing! :)

It was amazing to be able to have the opportunity to undertake 

work experience for such an up and coming Luxury label

in the gorgeous Chelsea area, in London!

but I love the Met Ball, everyone pulls out the stops

sister cost a mere £4.99 in BARNARDOS, the clog boots

however were £40 in DUNE (the next week they went down too £20,

its still a sore subject, although originally £110.

I think It's time for a mid- afternoon snack

My turn to model todays look, Shirt FREE, I may have borrowed and 

just never returned, RED Booties just 99p SUE RYDER, and the 

Dress although I hate to admit it is New Look £7. Peace Necklace 5 euro 

bought in a little shop in Rome.

Leap frog time, try not to hit the computer!!

Or shall I just cut your hair now!! (by the way the pink in my

sis hair is an awesome SUPERDRUG own spray!! :)

I'm Currently Interning @HEMYCA, as their PR girlie, (check it out)

So no time what so ever, between work and work and Uni

work! But I love it, so I thought I'd do a little post

of something that I just love, it's a couple of years old, there 

is something about Black and White imagery

that takes my breath away (done correctly anyway)!! ;)

I popped to the charity shops today, 

so I'll share my purchases tomorrow

I haven't done a what I wore post in a while!!:)

More 90s Lovin'

Hey ppl, 

I know more 90s but I'm obsessed, this is an exhibition covering the huge 

influence the decade had over fashion, completely changing the game, the mixing and

 experimenting that took place was out of this world and changed fashion imagery to the raw, 

pure, documentary style.

This wasn't about models and great locations, high colour and high budgets, 

this was about taking a photo of your friend, in their own environment with you had. 

As Sophie von Olfers explains: 

“From 1990-95 the aesthetic was very pure and poor. No one was creating very over-produced imagery; instead people were looking at their surroundings like their friends, the street and the local neighborhood. This photography is often coined as ‘grunge’ – but I’m not a big fan of that term. I think it’s more of a kind of realness.”  Grunge is a reductive term that fails to describe the complex relationship between fashion and the body during this period.” The Curator speaking to Dazed Digital.

I just wanted to share Vanessa Beecroft! :)

At the moment I'm sat in the library writing an essay on the 1990s youth culture, 

a subject that is close to my heart!! 

Vanessa Beecroft is a huge part of this love <3

These are some images of hers from the 90s and some from closer to now

she exchanged notions between Visual art, fashion and had a 

strong voice about feminine image in society! :) 

Just love her challenge and outlook, of a define generation that is the 1990s.
